Type B service due - question for Acura/Honda 'stealership' mechanics

OK.. so my type B popped up ...currently at about 52000miles.

type B consists of:

Replace engine oil and filter
Inspect and top off all fluid levels (windshield washer, battery, brake, transmission, coolant, power steering, and hydraulic clutch).
Set tire pressure to factory specs
Rotate tires
Inspect front brakes, pads, discs and calipers
Inspect brake hoses and lines for cracks or leaks
Inspect adjustment of parking brake
Inspect suspension-mounting bolts
Inspect condition of exhaust pipes and muffler
Inspect power steering system
Inspect steering operation, tie rod and ends, steering rack and boots
Inspect all drive belts
Lube all hinges and latches
Inspect and replace air filter if necessary
Inspect air conditioning system for efficiency
Inspect battery connections
Inspect all hose clamps and coolant system
Inspect all lights and accessories
complimentary wash and vacuam

here in Canada..i got quoted $239.99 + tax and whatever other b.s. like shop fees at a local Acura Dealership.

So i do have a warranty concern that I'd like addressed as per this thread:
https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-problems-fixes-114/weird-noise-while-turning-not-o-ring-related-870050/

but it is completely intermittent...however, according to the service above they do all sorts of inspections. So question is, how detailed are these so-called inspections? visual? do they take stuff apart? As I see the power steering inspection may address my warranty concern.

i took it to this dealer before (during a regular type A oil change) but they could not replicate the 'whining' from the steering and so i left..this time around, IF i decide to pay them for this service, i'm going to flat out tell them to find the cause of this whining and arrange to address it.

...i am getting a loaner as this will be a 3hr job but no idea what car.. most likely a 2012/3 TL or ILX.

no, dont pay them stuff that you can do.
Most of that list is just a visual inspection.

Have you replace the PS O-ring?

I've paid less than $50 at an Acura dealership for all that AND got a loaner.

Here in montreal, Canada its 49.99 plus tax for an oil and filter change as well as a 15 point inspection and of course the optional car wash (which I never decline... lol)
