Turn signal control lever works wrong
Hi guys,
So... since I bought my TL a couple weeks ago, I've had a problem with the turn-signal lever and I wanted to know if anyone else had this problem. When I indicate to turn left and then make my turn, even when the turn is complete the left-turn signal stays on. However, when I indicate to turn right and start my turn, the signal turns off way before the turn is finished. I don't know if there's some kind of calibration setting on the signal lever but it's definitely something wrong with the mechanism in there. Has anyone else had this problem or am I all alone.
I'm bringing her to the dealership tomorrow morning so hopefully they'll be able to fix that, and my hard to shift into 1st gear problem. I'm also going to get them to check out the rattling (more like clicking) sunroof slider.
Thanks for all the input people.

Possibly not broken but seriously out of adjustment, which is why the right turn signal goes off early and the left turn signal doesn't go off at all.

I've noticed something similar, but only on certain turns that I make. The arm will not cancel until the wheel is brought exactly back to center or slightly right. On some turns that are not 90 degrees where I continue to curve left after a turn I will need to manually cancel the signal.
Also, the manual cancel when accelerating is something else that I am not used to. I'll put my signal on to merge onto the highway and when I begin accelerating hard it will automatically cancel. Many times I have caught myself making an additional lane change without my signal not realizing that it had already canceled itself.

We have a similar problem with the turn idicator on our 05 TL. Sometimes it turns off too soon, and others not at all. Figured I'll have the dealer look at it. We can't figure out if it is a left/right thing. But when a 90 degree turn happens, I'd hope that the signal would cancel. Hope the dealer can fix it....
