type s can be for some but if money is a issue like for me i sticked with my base and navi....buying a 20k car isnt something that everyone have =[.

that car is a ok deal. i paid 16.5 total for my 05 black on black 74k with navi. so maybe that is a price to base around.

Looks pretty clean. Check the history, take a test drive and make sure the tranny shifts smoothly. I don't have a navi and I don't really miss it either.

Price is a little steep as well. That's what they want to get for it but you could knock off at least another grand. Good luck!

Thanks for the input. The seller said he'd sell for 13,500. I think I will go after one with navi. It seems difficult to add a aftermarket screen.

keep in mind that service gets a little pricey in this milage range (if you do a lot of driving). Also I have 1 with nav., it is cool, but if you have a little money after market deck, woofs and amp can be an option instead of the extra cost of a tl with nav. just my w2
good luck

I was looking into that but I couldn't find any easy way to install a aftermarket mp3/gps unit. No manufacturers seem to make a double din kit for the tl.

What exactly can cost a lot at that mileage?

At 105K, you'll have the timing belt, water-pump, valve adjustment and new plugs needed. This can cost a pretty penny. Another cost is usually tires, but since the description says it has new tires, you wont have to worry about it. A new battery may be needed soon, that'll be probably 100 dollars. Also there will probably need to be a brake fluid flush, coolant flush (5 yrs old), transmission fluid change ( 3 x 3 method), filters (cabin and engine) which can run about 400 dollars total. I say try to talk down the price a little bit and as well try to get some service history so you can better spend your money.

Take your time buying a used car. It's a long process.

Be patient.

Good Luck
