Can anyone let me know of a place in NYC that will tint out my tail lights? I went to one place in Queens and the dude told me to come back late next week cause he supposedly has no paper left...whatever! I dont feel like waitin that long and im tryin to go either by tomorrow or friday...

do it yourself dude. its really easy. go to stickercity.com they sell precut film for 04-07 TL. i got mine from them.

Do those inserts from stickercity.com go on the outside or the inside of the taillight. I seems like it goes on the outside which seems a little awkward. I always thought smokin the taillights involved a spray

its goes on the outside. i had for almost 2yrs and its still looks good.

it doesnt require a spray. Mines are tinted with rockblocers which is really similar to stickercity product. its a 15min install. A couple of my friends have had their tail lamps spray tinted but it looks wack it looks dull and kills the shine of the plastic. With the tint u still have that nice plastic glossy look.

Self tinted with Nite Shades spray $15



Both meet DMV requirements up here .

Looks pretty nice. I wouldn't have expected it to look that good with the precut film. I guess i never considered it possible since windows are tinted on the inside but it does look quite nice. Wonder if they'd give me a hard time in NY

i'm in WA. and i never had problem with cops. i get stop by them for not having front plate though!

Yea, do it yourself with the kit from eBay. You can also get them from Rockblocker, and a few other film companies.
