Trip Comp

You know when you get into your car and start it up, if you have the trip monitor on, then you have to hit the select button to see the avg mpg/mph distance/etc...

Is there a way to have that thing pop up the stats w/o having to push select everytime?

I don't think there is a way. It's really annoying.

Right on both counts. We should be considered intelligent enough to know if we want to display the trip computer screen all the time or not.

You would think that as much as the car "remembers" settings for driver1-2, it would remember something as small as that.

We have it in Canada but it's very annoying, the orange message always appear even if you press the button to make it disappear it comes back with a ''ding'' sound, if you want to see the other infos you need to press a button a lot of time.

One time when you start the car should be enough , we are not idiot.
