Hello everyone, just bought the car this past & what a great car. It didn't come with any keyless remotes so i just bought a number #2 off ebay (couldn't find a #1 in decent shape). Anyway, found the programming instructions but i must be doing something wrong. My question is b/c this is a used remote, don't i need to reset it some how? I looked in the manual & it says if i hold down the lock & unlock for 2 seconds the remote will blink twice (it did) unlinking the remote & setting back to factory defaults.

So when i turn the key on to II, i noticed the car will beep 5 times. When i turn the igntion back to off, the key light will blink 4 times. I am pressing the lock/unlock button well within that time limit, wtf am i doing wrong??????? Does it matter if you don't get a clean exchange from Off to II (meaning you get caught up on I for a second)???????

It pretty easy to turn the ignition on, press lock, turn off, repeat 3 times each step within 4 seconds. Turn on, press the button 3 times & turn off. It's not rocket science, i am really getting angry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just looked at the back of my remote, the idiot from ebay sent me the wrong f&cking remote!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!
