Transmission problems need opinions

I just bought a 2006 Acura TL and my tranny is no good but i have a friend who has one in very good condition and it belongs to a 2007 TL
So i want to know if i can put the 07 tranny on the 06

I believe they were completely different transmissions so I don't think you could just swap them in place of each other.

no but you can use a 2003-2006 Honda Accord transmission, just have to swap over the range switch from your trans.
