I'm new to this and need some advice.
I found my 2008 TL leaking transmission fluid and coolant out the overflow tank. I checked the transmission fluid level and it was barely on the dip stick. I assume the radiator transmission cooler leaked internally into the engine coolant. I obviously need to replace the radiator. Is there anything else I need to replace? Transmission filter, radiator hoses, thermostat or water pump?? I found a Denso radiator on Rockauto.com for $131.79 (#221-3241). Is this a good radiator for the TL?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

OEM radiator is Denso, as far as the ATF. I would check to see if the color being mixed with coolant, if it does perform drain and fill until you see pure transmission fluid.

 

Do you recommend taking it somewhere and have the cooling system flushed out before replacing the radiator?

 

you can do the flush at home, just run a house through the engine coolant inlet and watch it come out the outlet (remove the thermostat) and make sure you disposable coolant properly. I would worry about the transmission at this point.
