Transmission Bolt Thread Pitch

This is going to be a reach but I figure I would ask.

I pulled my upper transmission mount to do the pressure switches and 3x3 on my 07 TL base last night and of course one of the bolts was seized in. I did end up getting it out but it now had pretty messed up threads in the hole and on the bolt. I have a chaser kit but none big enough. I called and ordered a bolt from acura but I was wondering if anyone knew the thread pitch so I can buy a tap or chaser.

On another note does anyone have any input on using a Nickel based anti seize on this bolt? I know its a stainless bolt going into aluminum so it have the anti galvanic corrision on it but this is the 4th time I have run into an issue like this on a Acura (You would think a company like Acura could get this figured out).

I may run to the hardware store and just get a stud and nut, that way if it seizes again the nut will still come off.

The bolt is #51 in this diagram:

All it gives me is 12mmx40mm no pitch.

Most common seems to be 1.25. Rent a tap and die kit from Autozone that has thread files and you can easily figure out the pitch.

you shouldn't have any need to remove that bolt.

but i guess what's done is done. good luck with the fix. tap and die kit would be your best bet.

I didnt have to remove that bolt but the sensor is right under that mount so I was trying to make my life easier... Oh well.

And thanks JJH, I figured it was 1.25, most Honda/Acura bolt are.

take out the other bolt next to it on the bracket, it should be same thread. use that to measure pitch if your current bolt is too messed up to measure

Man, I contemplated doing the same thing when I replaced my sensors. That one under the mount was a PITA.

Are the base pressure switches located differently from the type-s? I had no trouble with mine.

^07-08 AT is same transmission regardless of base or type S. 04-06 AT is the different one
