Thats a badass upgrade, I would absolutely do it. All depending how much they want on top of your tl. COMPLETELY different car though.

What color is the Escalade? I would do it if it looks like this one (wheels and everything)

If not then I would keep the TL.

Ehhh I say dont do it. I had a 08 Grand Cherokee SRT8 and even though its probably one of the badest SUV's there is im just not an SUV guy. I wanted to get back into a car so now im driving my 07 KBP Type S and soooooo glad I did. And that Escalade is HUGE compared to the SRT. Also, even if money isnt an issue you WILL get soooo sick of filling that thing up every other day. You will literally be able to see the gas needle go down while you drive lol. I make six figures and that shit pissed me off. Said bye bye to the SUV.

IYour TL has low miles for the year, Plus for an 08 Escalade with that many miles?! I wouldnt do it... in my opinion.. but also your costs in spending for gas would increase.

Everything is true just the difference that the Escalade is a Big Guy and if you are in the move just do it with out money in top we are talking about miles and years there both great cars make the trade even just like that,,,

Wow- I would not even think about that if I made money on the trade, but to each his own. Seems like a total waste unless the you always haul a lot of people or need to tow something. I hope you're OK with creaks and rattles because an Escalade takes our minor issues to a entire new level not to mention the 30-50% decline in fuel economy. It will always ride and handle like a truck. Don't do it!

an 08 esclade with that many miles is a bad idea. You'll soon face a whole bunch of problems with it, and as well your cost of ownership will easily double. the Escalade has been on the top 10 stolen list for a while, and being an 08 your insurance will jump A LOT! Add on top of that the price of gas (50% less fuel economy) and you'll be spending double on gas. Stick with the TL, it makes a whole lot more sense.

I wouldn't trade in my TL for an Escalade if someone paid me. The only SUV I'd consider is the Cayenne.

I'd say the escalade still has a couple thousand dollars worth of depreciation to go in just the next year.

Hold off on it.
