TOV shows 2004 TL Dynojet

Here it is...

TL Dynojet results

They think that the TL engine "dominates" the NSX engine below 6000 rpm. Wow. As they say, engine design has progressed since the NSX was first built.

An "easy" 285hp in development for the J32A4; that's pretty good. Too bad they scaled that back (ECU de-tuning).

Can we call the new TL a "4-door NSX"? OK, that might be a bit much. Especially with the new RL coming....

This also supports the assertion that the Dynomax reads a little higher than a Dynojet. The last dyno was done on the Dynomax and read 231hp. This is around 222hp. Not much of a difference but an interesting observation.

"So, with the J32 you get a quiet, smooth, clean, fuel efficient 270 hp from 3.2 liters with another 30 hp or so just waiting to be liberated. Ain't progress great?"

I'm ready for it.... Wheres that other 30HP...

Ironically, I believe the J32A4 is capable of going above 300hp. Remember American Honda's Honda AC-R with the 300hp J30A1 motor (3.0L V6)?!?

Lets not go off the deep end here . . .

The TL is great, no doubt, but it is not an NSX.

So, in reality the 04 TL really does have onky 10hp more (or even less imo) than TL/CL-S. I thought someone with a 5AT put down 218whp?
