Torque Steer 2008 TLS

How evident is the torque steer on your TLS? I test drove a CBP TLS the other day and it pulled to the right on a flat road without touching the steering wheel.

I am shopping for a TL and have mostly driven non S TL's at this point and I have not noticed this same issue. Is this normal?

Regardless, at this point I think I need a TLS. It is such a nice car for the dough. Its a few extra bucks but it seems to be worth it when you are already buying a nice car.

Problem is finding one... This one seems great, just a matter of the torque steer and it also has a bit of a dirty engine https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...t=dirty+engine

you wont feel torque steer if you drive normally obviously . On the other hand i love it when i floor it in first gear and it seems all hell is breaking loose . Just a feeling of raw power.

Lets see for example an BMW M3 amazing car but not as much fun to drive then lets say a Corvette just because its so sophisticated and easy to control. Still more fun then an ACURA TL for sure dont get me wrong but you get the idea....

If you get better tires, it reduces the torque steer a little.

and keeping your hands on the steering wheel helps a lot!

The FWD setup of the TL is prone to torque steer since the shafts are not of equal lengths between the left and right wheels (connecting to the transmission). A good set of tires and and learning how to launch a car properly will help you overcome the torque steer.

If the TL-S was automatic torque steer is relatively minor. Now the 6spd manual Type S torque steer is ridiculous. I have owned both cars and it gets pretty crazy especially in first and second with the 6spd manual.

the base 6MT TL has crazy amount of torque steer without a GREAT set of tires.
Goosing it in a turn will result with a mishap into the barrier if you aren't careful.
