Question Torque Converter

recently i have been driving my car, 08 NBP TL with Nav and at low speeds the car will "shutter" a little bit before switching gears from 2-3. the car is an automatic, so i brought it into the dealer this morning and took a ride with one of the techs, he experienced the same problem and ruled it as a bad Torque Converter...i do alot of driving, but do not beat on my car. it has about 21k on it right now...anybody experience this?

i had the same feeling when i had my 01 CL-S, but my tranny was about to crap out on me so they replaced it

I have noticed my 07 do this but it only does it like maybe once or twice each gas tank. So its pretty rare. I also believe mine does it from the 2 to 3 shift and will experience a very slightly shuttering motion then will shift normally. I also feel a slightly harshness in the gas pedal in the 1500-2000rpm range during normal acceleration.

Sounds good please let us know what they did and if the problem was fixed as I am very curious.

Thanks,

That used to happen to me but then I had my tranny fluid changed and all was fine. That could be a possibility if it isnt the TC

If they are gonna replace the TC let them do that first, since its probably free under warranty. They will charge you to do a tranny flush.

Thanks.. Im usually around Stroudsburg PA.. What about you?
