(Toronto, Canada) Just Got My A-Spec Suspension!!!! 50% off.
Hi All,
just got my A-Spec sport suspension kit installed.
What a difference in handling.. mainly noticeable when cornering etc... obviously + some more stiffness due to harsher bumps. but it is all good.
For those in Toronto, Canada, Acura Woodbine is selling them for approx $550 CDN.
Seriously thas around 50% off!!!!!!!!
They have several kits left.

Labour is roughly 4 hours so you're lookin at 380ish for labour. (Canadian)
I don't bother bargaining on labour prices. I'd rather have good quality work done.
Yea actually the A-Spec suspension normally does come with rims but they sold the suspension separately this time around.
18inch A-spec rims with a new set of tires comes out to 2000 ish... Not willing to make that financial commitment.
But yea...for all you going for that A-spec, it is seriously worth it....considering it is 50% off pretty much.
Also there's a really hot sales woman who works there too.. mmmmmm

Came out to total of $1080 Canadian.
They do ship elsewhere via UPS too if you want. Actually, any carrier you request.
www.acurawoodbine.com
You can find the # in there.
You can ask for Mario from parts and tell him that you spoke with me (Gavin). I have an 06 Royal Blue TL.
Yea man, they have a nice selection of rims there including a few of the RonJon rims but I just couldn't find the justification to shell out 2K for the rim / tire package cause my TL is predominantly stock still. If i got those rims, it means i gotta get a rear lip spoiler and front lip to accomodate the image and they don't got any discounts on those parts yet so I wasn't willing to bite.

Ok let me clarify. In Ontario there is a nice 14% tax on top of that.
So suspension + labour + tax = approximately $1080 Canadian in total.
The 18inch rims / tires were an additional 2K roughly. You can negotiate.
He quoted me 18inch A-spec rims for about 230-250 per rim, plus good tires is gonna cust you 210-230. you are already looking at roughly 500 per wheel.
Oh, and if you have an 06 TL, TPMS sensors cost you 200 more.
SO your lookin at $2100 roughly without tax or labour yet.

1080 is a pretty nice price for aspec suspension. how much difference is the stock ride height compared to the new ride height???
i was considering lowering my car by acura woodbine and at the time they were charging me 1350 i for aspec and install.
after a lot of searching around i just coulnt spend that much on something that wouldnt allow me to lower or raise the car. also when i went with the tein ss i can also control the dampening. after all was said and done i paid 1500 for my tein ss including install.
anyone here going to the acura woodbine meet???

I took measurements before and after and i didn't really notice a difference in drop at all.
So i'm not entirely sure what to really expect. but all my wheels front and back are pretty much the same height. approx 67.5 - 68cm off da ground to the top of the umm half circle.

When is the woodbine show?
My ride isn't souped up enough to show it off though.
When is it again? i'd like to drop by and see some cars...maybe get some ideas on rims etc.....

I don't know guy.... if you go to the Parts section of the webpage at Acura Woodbine you'll see what they got...
predominantly alot of 2005 parts for RSX, TL, TSX....a few 06 TL parts.... such as the sport suspension which just came up.... I won't go as far as saying all their stuff is 50% off but I got the suspension for 50% off roughly from MSRP from them.

Their part numbers don't jive with the numbers usually associated with the a-spec suspension. They list the kit as 08w60-sep-400 not the 08w60-sep-200A kit. Looks like it might be for an auto but why the different part numbers.
