Unhappy Tornado!!!!

As I am typing this, there are 2 tornadoes on their way here (Edmond, OK). Golf ball sized hail already coming down. All I can do is pray for the best for my TL in my garage. Everybody pray for the best and that No TL is injured, lol. 85mph winds in the tornado, heading straight for us. Should be here in about an hour. Such a tragic loss it would be for such a nice car to be harmed. May the TL god protect them all.........

I don't think there are basements in OK, TX and some other surrounding states.

Same reason folks in earthquake or hurricane country don't move out.

Hurricanes are generally easier to deal with though. And in most places that are used to Earthquakes, the buildings are built better and can generally with stand it. I think tornadoes are a bit worse.

Hope you, your family and your car are all great and have a good long weekend and wish my candid relocation question doesn't offend to you.

nah, no offense taken. There are benefits living here though! such as paying $1.50 for gas instead of $2.50 for gas. And I could buy a house here that would cost $1.2 million in Irvine,CA (I used to live there, I miss it sometimes though) for $250,000. And the best of all, theres absolutely no traffic at all. Anywho, Everything turned out swell and the tornado was about 3 blocks north from mine . Only damage was a mailbox and some tree limbs landed in our front yard. No biggie! Thank god my TL is ok!

Many hospitals are built right on top of the S.A. Fault!

Eggroll you should have been there 5 years ago when the F5 went through. 85 mph...pfft...mild breeze...your in tornado alley now get ready for some real wind damage.

I've lived in NWA for 25 years and we are in the middle of tornado alley and I have yet to see one. So moving to a place like....um Sac town to deal with the brush fires, earthquakes, gangs, drive by's, high cost of living...I'll take my chances. Oh, and NYC is a great place to visit...but I wouldnt live there if you gave me a place to live. I'll take the south any day of the week. Besides, tornado's are like brush fires...they just clean up the place.

Got a question for you Eggrollexpress61

I am living in Oklahoma too, actually was in OKC Saturday afternoon (and left because of the storms) looking at an 04 TL at Bob Howard Acura. Is it safe to say you bought from there? If so what was your experience with the dealership and salespeople? And if I could ask what was the deal you finally got (Auto or 6Speed/Navi or Not Navi)? I am living about 135 miles away in Altus and Bob Howard is the closest dealer. Please let me know.
