Took Delivery of my TL today

Just got home after a night of driving around Boston in my new Anthracite TL. I am now an Acura driver for life. Got the TL with Nav for 31500. Guess they need to blow out the 06's to make room for the 07's. Great deal on the car.

Took two weeks for Clair Acura in Walpole, MA to get the Antracite with Ebony interior in stock but it was totally worth the wait. Put a deck lid spoiler on it and the dealership threw in all-season floor mats, splash guards, and wheel locks for free. Went into take care of the financing and they suckered me into a Lojack, remote starter, Autobahnd, and Simoniz System 5. Totally worth it for the deal I got from them on the car though.

Can't wait for her to hit 600 miles so I can open her up and see what she can do.

Does anyone know what I need to keep the RPM's at to ensure the most efficent break-in period? Thanks.

Which tyranny did you get?

Mine's an '04 Anthracite/Ebony/Nav/6MT and my wife's is an '05 Satin Silver/Quartz/Nav/5AT.

As for RPMs during break-in, I'd try to stay under 4000 and do vary your speed for the first 600 miles. Also, take it real easy on the brakes the first 300 miles.

As much as I wanted to go with the 6MT I settled for the 5AT. Plan on moving back to Manhattan by the end of the year and took traffic that I am going to have to deal with into consideration for my choice.

Plus I need to concentrate on more important things, like checking out the ladies who are checking out the TL.

Congrats! I'm glad that was I able to get Athracite before the color was gone... I admit, though, I love the new dash...
