Take a look.
It's been fun, hope someone here is wise enough to pick this up.
She will be missed.

Thanks all... It hurts to sell.
... but not as much as it hurts to walk out every morning and look at it just sitting there, doing nothing.
I'll still be around, hopefully stalking the buyer of my car for approval of future mods...

In all reality, though...you're doing the right thing. A home will provide you with equity and many cherished memories to be shared with loved ones. Good luck with your endeavors, man, your car was awesome.

Wow! Such low mileage
Also, I always wondered whether your car was a 5AT or a 6MT and if you had a base or a type-s...I guess now I know haha. Good luck with the sale boss man!

For future reference, please take these types of questions to the sale thread in the Black Market. If these types of posts start popping up, I will be forced to close the thread. Out of respect for Chris, I am leaving this thread open as a 'farewell' thread and don't want to close it.

Wow, I wish I was in the market for a TL right now! ![Thumbs Up](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
But you will be missed for sure. You have had your voice in many threads and have provided tons of useful info to all of us. Its a loss to the community but its good to know your ideas and thoughts are still just a search away. Good luck with the sale and best of luck in the future. It sounds like things will be a-ok for you. Take care and make sure you stop in and say hi every once and a while

Kennedy,
I have been lurking in these forums for some time now and sparingly post. But I have come out of the woodwork on this rare occasion to applaud you on one of the highest levels of respect from shear dedication and attention to detail in a modern automobile. Especially of that for a family man such as yourself.
I read through your FS post with the extensively exhaustive mod list. Although $30k for an 06 TL SC 6MT will be steep for most people I'm sure you will find someone with the same level of respect as you have for workmanship, especially considering you're in no hurry to sell it.
Good luck in starting the next chapter in your life as every beginning really does come from some other beginning's end.

Sorry to see you let it go. Definetly one the OG 3G TL inspirations.

Me and Trancemission been friends ever since. A'zine, prison rules.
It was such a funny experience, I put "The F*ing Donkey" in my username tag line for a few years.
If there's been a controversy on A'zine, I've likely been on the moral high ground attack side of it.

All others, thanks for the support and positve comments.
There is an unwritten appeal here that noone has brought forward. As close as this community is, and as much as I've been in the middle of it for the last 4 years, you know exactly who your buying from and what you're buying...
This is not a used TL. This is Kennedy's TL. There's little risk here, and you can rest assured, I'll be available for support and consulting down the road should the future owner want/need it.
The VW Jetta I mentioned in the FS thread... I talked to him last year, that was 4 years ago he bought it from me. He had a few Q's on timing belts.
I EXPECT that continuous communication. Steeping into car this modded without some support is scary. No need to be scared, I got your back. I'm not a warranty, but I am your vehicle history book, which is rare in buying used modded cars.

Good luck with the sale, I'm sure that whoever becomes the next owner will appreciate all the thought, creativity and care you invested in that fine TL and give her a good home. I always hoped that I would see you on the road.
Sorry to see you go.

Hey man I see credit when credit is due.
After seeing that mod list and your vehicle history you really went all out on your TL. That's a lot of sweat and money put in. It's pretty much the complete opposite of me. I will have my TL for 4 years in Feb 2011 and it's almost bone stock since day one with the exception of hyper yellow DRL's.
I developed a new "financial system" for myself about 5 years ago.
Every time I get the urge to spend money on modding my car, i put it into savings. The money from wanting to get new wheels + rubbers.. About $2000, went into a 1 year CD @ 2%. CAI, exhaust, port'n'polish, pulley, suspension drop, new speakers, sub, amp, carputer, etc. all into savings.
Honestly, I had a long "to-do" mod list when I first purchased the car. At least tints and maybe a CAI were bare minimums. But I never gave in. I now have well into 5 digits worth of savings $. At this rate, by next year I'll have enough for a respectable down payment on a house in savings.
I never thought of my TL as a performance car. I like its quietness(well, excluding the rattles :/ ) and also didn't want to sacrifice that for the sake of mods. I'm actually thinking about picking up a used 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 next year to satisfy(reward) my performance deprivation and keep the TL as my cruising car.
So somewhere in this madness of mine I think I'm doing the right thing, but time will tell lol
