so here it is guys...crazy week for the TL...forst off i wanted more growl out my exhaust...so i had the mid muffler replaced with a straight pipe n wow guys...deff sound like a g35...awesome move i made there n it only costed $40
i took her in for service..i noticed a clicking noise when i accelerate, decelerate, and on sharp turns (u-turns), so i get a call from curry acura sayin my car was ready...they said the axle nuts werent torqued properly....so after a shitty day of having a TSX for a loaner that cant get out of its own way, i get my TL 6mt back...the clicking from acceleration and deceleration is gone, but still there on sharp turns...so i called back and rescheduled...i had also asked them to check the right door mirror out becouse it made a horrible clicking noise when it tilted in reverse, they claimed it needed some lube. now it goes down and doesnt come back up.
i then took the car to my cuzins tint shop, the tinter told me that the two rubber molding on the doors where the window sit b/w scratc hthe tink...apparently the one on the outside has that cloth feel to it but the one on the inside does not. so he ended up ordering a kit to fix that problem..i got a 35% visibility smoked look and absalutley love it..he ended up not letting me pay..so that was free...so now all i have to worry about is goin to the dealer for the axles and the mirrors..
any input guys, ur more than welcome..

Do you have an intake also? Do you hear any drone? Very interested since all I want to do is all alittle more sound and our freeflow exhaust is already nice as is. I was gonna get new cans just to achieve the sound I wanted.
i had my mid muffler removed along with my resonator and boy did it sound like a riced out car, but their were times where it sounded really nice. so today i went to the shop again after a month and put another type of resonator on and took the mid muffler out, and boy does the car sound sweet.

Its hard to believe that out car could sound like a G ... i want to hear it!!

Just an afterthought question .. is the exhaust system on the TL stainless? If so won't the replacement pipe of a dissimilar metal cause electrolysis ( Eg premature rusting at the welds) ?

I am the special shop
. Just take it to an exhaust shop. Unless the exhaust guy is seriously retarded they will do that for you. Removing the mid muffler, welding in the pipe that I bent, and putting the hanger on there took me all of five minutes.
