TL's everywhere!!!

I can't believe it - I live in a neighborhood of about 750 homes, and there are now five 3rd generation TL's in the neighborhood ALREADY, and those are only the ones I've spotted. There may be others. There are:

Two silver (one is mine)
One anthracite
One white diamond
One desert mist

That's one 2004 TL for every 150 homes in my neighborhood. I can't even pull out of the place without spotting another one. Oh, and there's a realtor showing houses in here with an '04 NBP.

I can't wait until a couple of years from now, when the new TL's get more common - we'll be pulling out of my neighborhood in the morning two and three at a time. WTF???

I'm in a neighborhood of 127 homes, and a second TL is about to join mine.

At work, I park on the same garage level as another ABP/Quartz/5AT/Non-Nav, and an Anthracite/Quartz/5AT/Non-Nav.

In my neighborhood of several hundred homes, I own the only TL. I don't live in the ritziest neighborhood, though. (Money saved in not buying buying a McMansion=more money to retire on...same logic in buying an Acura rather than a BMW, which I can easily afford.)

I live in a neighborhood of 150 or so homes and I believe I am the only TL there, but I am not sure.

There are ALOT of TL's in the Washington DC area. I guess a huge sign was that I saw one when I was on my way to pick up my car. Driving downtown I saw 2 before going to the Wiz game. Also, two people who work in my garage have TL's. I passed a TL going to Baltimore today. And two TL's are already at my school. This car is really popular. Plus I was behind another TL when going through the Dulles Toll Road. All in all, everyone is going to get one.

They are beginning to multiply like rabbits here in Boston. I saw 3 Anthracites near Chinatown within a 10 minute walk a few days ago. Saw a green one in Quincy just last week driven by an older guy and must admit the color was stunning in the sun.

I've not seen one in the Detroit area besides my own WDP.
Most everybody here on the east side drives American iron
as alot of folks work for the big 3 and get the cars on lease
real cheap.
This is ok with me.

I count Ann Arbor as part of the Detroit area. I've seen 4 different ones so far (mine makes 5.) Pop. ~ 100K.

Of course, AA has a lot more money than city of Detroit so we tend to see a lot luxury cars, imports, etc..

In NE Oklahoma (pop: roughly 800,000 I think) I've seen no more than half a dozen or so in the last 5 months. I'm sure there's more because the dealer seems to keep their inventory rolling, but I don't see them on the road. My son still thinks we have the only one because he's yet to see another one. It's been a week since I've seen one (Abyss Blue Pearl; first one I've seen on the road that color).

Exclusivity is not at all a reason why I bought one, but it's fun nonetheless. People certainly notice the car.

Good point. Anyone who thinks they're in an exclusive club by owning an '04 TL should take note of the recent VIN numbers, which are rising faster than those "billions served" markers at McDonald's.

By the end of the year, you'll likely see just as many '04 TL's on the road as the G35's......which is to say, too many.

I had only seen one other in the Sacramento area until the other day. Pulled into a costco parking lot and found an open spot...right next to an anthracite TL. Later that night went to a restaurant and got an open spot right up front...right next to an SSM TL.

They must like parking next to each other!

You gotta love this one!!! Out of the 120 homes in my new neighborhood there are only two 2004 TL's so far, mine and my next door neighbor. He has an Anthracite and my color is SSM. Go figure what are the odds of that. And we both moved in on the same weekend!!! Oh well at least he is a great neighbor so far.

3 TL's in my complex of about 150 homes. A black/ebony, blue/camel and my Anthracite/ebony.

I have seen quite a few TLs driving around though.
