TL vs. TSX Projectors.

We all know that the TSX has a much better cut off line due to the ZKW Lenses but which of the two cars has better light dispersion?

What Im trying to ask is, does the TSX really have a far more superior projector than we do? I was just driving next to a TSX tonight on the highway and it looked like it did a much better job of spreading the light on the road.

One thing I have always loved was pulling up to a car with halogens at night and having my light output over power theirs and pretty much just make it look like their lights aren't even on.

zkw lens is from BMW, but people do swap zkw lens into the Stanley TL HID projector housing. Never seen anybody swap zkw lens into a tsx projector.

I think the 3G TL has better lighting. Not sure about the newer TL and TSX.

I think the TSX projectors are better IMO. I used to own a TSX and the TSX was noticeably bright with a better crisp in the light. This is using the same bulbs for each car-- Phillips 81522

You're comparing to different style of projectors. A single xenon (TSX) vs. A bi xenon (TL). The TL is hands down the better of the two, look at the width of the hot spot on how consistent it is throughout, the TSX looks pretty dim.

^ On those pics above, it says they are 35ft in front of the car...isn't that a bit high for that far away?? I'm about to get some new bulbs and re-aim as I have the stockies from '04 and they are dimming I believe. Isn't it like from 20ft the cutoff should be at the headlight height or something like that??

Also, why does the TL have that spot in the bottom/middle that has no light??

^i think the projectors are off the car in those pictures, so its like just one projector freely hooked up to a power source to show you on the wall.. since i only see one cut-off as well..

Foreground limiter...helps increase the intensity of the light within the cutoff
