It really depends on how much boost he has in there.... He could have at low as 4 lbs of boost or as high as say...30 lbs....

those civic-based cars are always unpredictable, you could have a plain old ricer type of crx, or one that's pretty fast with something like a B16C or B18C in it. And I guess the fastest ones are like the boasted CRX you are talking about, you never know how fast they really are. I have this car magazine right in front of me, and it shows many civics with boasted D16A engines making as high as 561whp. Now I think that is built just for the track, but most likely they are capable of 400hp easily. Even if they only have 300hp, they still carry very little weight.

Also we need to know if you're car is stock or if you've got things done to it as well.

Any older Honda is highly unpreditable the amount of PSI he is running is what tells you how fast he is, anything under 8PSI should run no better than low 14s.

If it has all its interior panels, seats, and amenities in it still and has recieved no weight reduction, it weighs about 2100 pounds. So, just 200 hp and he WILL smoke you. If it is gutted, w/ lots of weight reduction(no door panels, carpet, back seats, sound deadener, a/c & compressor, etc, etc, then it probably weighs closer to 1800 lbs and w/ 200 hp, you dont stand a chance- I hate those stupid little cars.

You're gonna lose, if you didnt already. Unless he blows his motor, which I doubt he will.

I have a crx also it takes very little to get them moving even if its the stock d16a6 on 6 psi he would win IF everything was good on his end like if he can drive or not, how his motor is running, traction etc etc. but ofcourse since he just bought it, it doesent sound like he could drive it to its potential or knows very much about it. This is why bench racing is gay just go race! : )

Also iforyou theres no such thing as a b16c lol
