I mean; yes we go through the trouble of changing out LEDS in the interior; butt changing out a whole cluster because you "hate" it is absurd. you havent even bought the car yet, much less sat in it for more than all of 30 minutes, yet wants to change a MAJOR part of what the car is.
if you hate it. HATE it. then pick another car that doesnt have red lighting.
I have the greatest inclination that once you start driving the car, you'll get used to the red and you'll enjoy it.

Man, the red interior lighting is pretty sweet looking I can't imagine anyone "hating" it.
Changing the lighting throughout the entire interior IMO would be wayyyy too much work. The lights are EVERYWHERE:
-Cluster
-All four door panels especially drivers door with multiple lighting sections
-Steering wheel
-Drivers knee panel with lighted trunk button
-Mirror control panel
-Overhead console that also houses the overhead ambient light LED's
-Center radio stack (shit ton of lights) from the heated seat switches to the top info panel
-And last but not least, the two front footwell ambient LED's
Some of those are LED's and some are just tiny bulbs with a colored cover. IMO going through all the work of changing these would be extremely time consuming. It can be done, but just not practical. Your taking away a big part of what makes a type s a type s. then also there is resale. If I went to test drive a type s and found out its interior lighting had been completely swapped, I would move on and look elsewhere. And just for your guys information, the base lighting is more or less white with a couple blue accents, not all blue. Oh, and did I mention the red type s lighting looks bad ass ;-)

I would say that would be more difficult and certainly more expensive than just changing the interior bulbs. I know someone would typically just do a few basic Type S exterior things, but when you really think about it the only things similar between a base and Type S is the sheet metal. Virtually every part of the vehicle is different between the two cars. Now with that said I am by no means implying that the Type S is on a whole different level, because performance wise its not a whole lot different at all.
I say get the Type S and learn to like the red. I love driving this thing at night because it looks awesome in the cabin at night!

angry red LED is one of the reason why I pick just the Type S, too many car company out there has blue/white LED lightning. I would say this is the first time I heard only one person complaint about the red LED lol.
