I was wondering if any diy'ers did their own tinting and if so if they could give me some pointers(for ex. remove door panels). Also what brand of tint did you use? I am in georgia and we can can go no lower than 32%- so I guess that means I am going to have to use 35%. Thanks.....

 

I honestly wouldent do it myself, ive seen horrible DIY tint jobs with bubbles and so on. just pay the extra money to have a professional do it. ive seen 04 TL's with tint and they look amazing, the tint looked so good it looked stock. tinting the whole car except the windows can cost anywhere from $170 to $500 if you get it done at a dealer. The cost usually depends on where you live. I would shop around and try to the best price

 

it's tricky to cut, place, and keep the dirt out. use a professional installer. you should be able to get Solargard HP done for $200 or less.

 

Pay to get it done - it's not worth the hassle. If a shop does it, you have a warranty and guarantee and it will look professional. Visit the sites of Solagard, Formula 1, Llumar and they probably have dealer locations closer than you think.
