So heres how it went down....i was coming home from from droppin my friend off and as soon as i turned onto the turnpike i see a Tiburon fly by me and 2 mustang GTs chase after it. I get up to speed and follow the mustangs and the lead one plays with the Tiburon. I see them take off and they were pretty even for a couple of seconds and then the mustang pulled. I was thinking to myself that theres no way a Tib could have held its own like that. I pull up to the GT that was in front of me and the other GT dropped back, the Tib was far down the road after he did his ricer flyby. The mustang and I take off and we were dead even thru a couple of gears, then i shut it off cause i was catchin up to the Tib real fast. I switch lanes in front of the mustang and went by the Tiburon. He quickly caught up and started pacing me. I heard him down shift and i did too, and soon as i heard him step on the gas, i got on it too and i pulled atleast 3 cars on him. Then we came to a light and my windows were down, his passenger goes.

Passenger: What do you have done to that?
Me: What does he have done to that?
Passenger: Intake and exhaust
Me: intake

Im thinkin to myself theres no fucking way this tiburon was that fast, and this was the older 4cyl one not even the new GT v6.

light turns green, we do a 5mph roll and he takes off, i heard that car spool as i took off right after him. i was right next to him around 5500rpm in 1st and by the time i shifted to 2nd i was pulling hard. i shut it off after i hit 3rd, and he did his rice flyby once again. Then the lead mustang and I ended up going at it, but thats a story id rather not tell cause he turned out to be a mid 13sec car.

Looks can be deceiving is the lesson we learn from that I guess. That and not all people are very truthful. Good work. Be safe with your racing. but good kill. What about the other GT that may not have been a 13sec car? Talk to either of them?

even a turbo'd tib cant take a type-s wit a intake how pathetic lol a civic turbo'd will give the type-s a run for the money unless the type s has mods besides just a intake

I dont even know if i have a type S or No .... i don wanna repeat the whole story for how come i dont know. But i wanna ask you guys if any 1 of you knows any Dyno Test place in NY i can go to. i wanna c how many fkn horses r there.

Hmm.... OK That means im avoiding all the Triburon from now. No Triburon for me.

out here, when i'm looking for someone to run, i only end up finding little Hondas or Tegs that want some. i might run one of the newer model Tibs if the time is right.

Yeah these last 2 times was the first times i ran Tibs i think a stock one should be an easy kill.
