At work on break today I had an encounter a newer rl.(black light tinted with temp tags) It looked like it was an older gentlemen so i didn't think he wanted a piece. two lanes turn into one(lane closed) and he flies by me on the right(I HATE PEOPLE PASSING ME ON THE RIGHT). when it gets back to two lanes i go for it. i got along side and we both punched it. From approx 40-50 to about 125 i pulled (he was at my front door). Now we catch a light we both look at each other and inch up when the opposite light turns yellow. I was nervous and my stomach had that "gotta take a dump feeling".

I turned vsa off for a better launch but from a dig he got me by about a car. i had to let off the gas for a sec cuz i spun to much and i think that's what cost me the race. you think i could have got him with vsa on and i punched it?

 

i actually started to hawk him down but we had to shut down at about 90-100 the second run. i think with a better launch i could have got him both times.

fyi: no engine/performance mods,i had a quarter tank of gas, and just got a fresh oil change.

btw:anyone on here? i want round 3

 

Is your car 5AT or 6MT. If it's 6MT, then you should have won easily. 5AT though, you still carry 400-500lbs less weight, you should work on launching your car probably.

 

5at but yeah i only turned vsa off once messing around.....

 

don't worry too much, just practice more and look for that RL again!

 

You should have beat the RL but they have AWD on the launch so he doesn't have to worry about wheelspin like you do. Find him and punish him!!!!
