I just noticed this tonight on my way back from picking up some food and took a pic.

Does this look like it is supposed to be that seperated and that color? I am hoping it's just dirty or something because I don't remember the rocker panels being this color.

 

I've noticed a gap on mine too, although on silver the color difference is less apparent. I assumed it must be normal, but it does look odd...

 

Yehp, my rocker panels are like that as well. I thought it was just me.

 

My driver side rocker panel also looks similar to yours.

Its like that for expansion and the difference in color is because it doesn't get washed in there. Wash & cleaner wax will bring back the color.
