Anyways, back to the subject at hand. Z10 has worked perfect for me the last 5 years. I have an 02 Camaro SS, and have been using Zaino leather cleaner and conditioner for the past 5 years. Prior to that from when the camaro was new, I used black magic wipes, which are CRAP. I have not used any of the other brands so I cant really comment. What I will say is that the zaino cleaner is really only going to clean light dirt. It wont do good for tough stains etc. As far as the Acura goes, I have black interior so Zaino works perfect for me, and the smell is Wonderful, which is perfect for me. It conditions the leather well, and Ive been doing it about once every two weeks. I really dont know if thats overdoing it, but I love the smell.
Thanks and welcome. I think I will go with Zaino.

They ship very fast too. I ordered on a tuesday and received on thursday. They are stationed in New Jersey and I live in Houston. So it was pretty fast.

But I love the leather in the acura. Honda does a great job in my opinion with the type of leather they use. I had an 09 Honda accord EX-L V6sedan prior to this acura and the leather was wonderful.

Interesting the spin new members put on it. The leather Acura uses is known for being cheap and wearing badly. It's a known problem. Now people are saying it's nice.

Lexol is an average product that has good ratings and a huge disappointment for those who really wish to treat their leather properly. Everyone has their own level of car care and for those who just want to clean and condition because they should, get Lexol and save some money.

For the rest of us, get the Leatherique system, use it once a year on a hot day and be done with it.

cool story bro.

leatherique is for restoration/REconditioning of damaged and/or worn leather......not for conditioning leather in good/new condition. why would you need to restore the leather once a year when you should be upkeeping it by cleaning and conditioning properly. not to mention leatherique recommends lightly sanding the leather for best results. just what i wanna do....wear out my leather with a piece of sandpaper. have fun with that.

stick with lexol, zaino, zymol, etc... unless your seats have physical wear, uv damage, etc.

Actually, Leatherique Prestine Clean is used as a maintenance product (once a month wipe down)....the entire system (Rejuvenator Oil and Prestine Clean) is used for leather restoration. As far as "lightly sanding" the leather for prep...I've never read that anywhere on either bottle...not sure where you're getting that.

Out of all of the products that I've used for leather (and I've used a lot) Leatherique does the best job of restoring AND maintaining leather. It maintains a nice matte finish not a greasy, shiny sheen. Plus, Prestine Clean works great on most rubber, plastic and vinyl surfaces...it also has a UV blocker. But it is expensive...for me, not cost effective to use the stuff everywhere. But I've used it on rubber seals and it works wonders there as well.

I think csmeance uses Leatherique and swears by it. I'm just too lazy to use it. Probably the best stuff on the market?

For a total leather care system, I believe that it is, and a lot of others do as well. I'm typically very skeptical of "magic in a bottle" products but I have to say that Leatherique is just that.
I've used it both on my TL-S, which I keep pristine and it still made the seats look showroom new, and on a "pre-enjoyed" '08 FX35 that we had bought for my wife. The leather had the typical neglect but was topped with a greasy dressing by the dealer as part of their CPO "detail" (don't get me started). The Leatherique restored the seats, steering wheel, shift knob and other parts to the original matte finish. I was really impressed with the steering wheel as that part is handled the most and typically collects the most grunge...cleaned all of that crap off. Really great stuff...can't recommend it enough...

Just my opinion. Im not an expert, but Ive always loved the feel of the leather in the TL's and the Accords. I mean, my 02 Camaro has leather, but the textured of the Acura and Hondas feel so much better. It may wear quicker, but its soft and you know its leather. I figure if you just take care of it and condition it regularly it will be fine over time.
