Its a direct bolt on

Need to cut your reab bumper for the quads and add a type-s aspec rear or buy rear type-s bumper

Will this provide any performance upgrades or will this purely be for aesthetics? Not sure about what you are saying in the last part of your post. Am i cutting my current bumper or do i need to remove it completely and use a type s bumper?

Also i already installed an aspec bumper on my base tl, im guessing that has to go? The quad pipes wont fit on it?

You can find quads that will fit, but in my opinion they look too cramped, small, and ugly with the base aspec. You can buy the entire Type S bumper which will set you back about $500, or you can buy just the type S lip, cut your current bumper and do this:

I just bought the EndlessRPM quad exhaust for my base. In a couple weeks I'll be installing the type S rear lip and then bolting on the exhaust.

You will increase your aerodynamics by 1.96^10 which will yield better MPG and braking power.

Lol, no, modifying a body panel in your situation will not yield any performance difference.

Thats not math. You can also replace the exhaust tips with dual tips, but like said above it will not look "right." And realistically it will not change how the car drives in any way.

You should look up threads on replacing the exhaust from the cat back. That could yeild a small power increase and also change the look and sound of the car towards what you are looking for. You will need about $500 though.

It's all for show. I have a base model tl. I cut my rear bumper up to fit the type-s aspec lip kit on so I could fit a quad exhaust. I'm actually trying to sell my type-s aspec rear bumper and Type-S quad exhaust for $300 but it has to be local because I need the factory tl bumper and factory exhaust as part of the trade

It would be for aesthetics, but once you have modified your bumper or have the type-s swapped over, you can run the quad tips. We sell our XLR8 catback that is quad tip and non-resonated for $999.
