TL-P vs. NSX vs. Silvarado

so i was driving down on hwy 400 this afternoon going north from 401, and i saw a red NSX going at least 100mph while i was on the merger lane and then there's a black Chevy Silvarado catching up with the same speed

it's rare to see a NSX in toronto and i want to see who's driving, so i decided to catch up with him

took me a while to hit 125mph and couldn't get much closer with both, i am not sure what kind of silvarado is that but i never knew it can go up to 125mph

the traffic blocked the NSX and the truck and i caught up with them

went up to the NSX and beside him, a white guy is driving and he looked over and gave me a smile after he saw my big brake kit, and then the traffic clears then he hit it again

i tried to catch up but guess what? this is the NSX, he was pulling away but i started to catch up after 110mph since the VTEC kicks in at 4th gear

we went up to 125mph again and zipping around the lanes, the silvarado couldn't catch up with our handling and fell way behind

i had to exit and had to say goodbye to the NSX

it was fun to hang around with the NSX

people should always have a digital camera in their cars! That way, when needed can always show the video instead of stories

I've never gotten the TL over 100mph...

Canadian Silverados are governed to 180 kph (approximately 112.5 mph).

Silverado SS can be made to go pretty fast. My friend's supercharged SS ran 12.83 at the track. If this one was keeping up with the NSX in acceleration, then it must've been a modified SS; otherwise it stands no chance.

I tried to mess with a white NSX around town (early model) and he wasn't having it. No fun.

What type of NSX driver doesn't play around some? That's a crime.

Install a SC on your TL and you could probably hang and play with the NSX. As always, play it safe.

I believe an installation of a supercharger will be quicker than any stock NSX.

Sam, I know your Wilwood setup is really nice man, but do you think thats what he noticed when you're flying down the 400 at 100 mph? He was probably smiling because he knew that his NSX would decimate our TL-Ps... maybe not though, it could have been those 6 piston calipers that got his attention!

287 is a very dangerous place to speed. There's always cops there, so be very careful when you speed

he was looking at my brakes, his car is sitting low as the ground and he was looking at my wheel and gave an evil smile

my wheels are 5 thin spokes so u can see it clearly when my car is rolling
