Top left of Nav, but I don't like it too much.

Would rather have the mirror one, but we do have better mirrors as I noticed Nissan and Mercedes have an annoying green tint to them

Hi tech

There's a compass in my Navigation system

And... not only GPS but an inertial guidance systerm incorporated with the GPS.

You will notice the red arrow going around a corner with you in real time and the next street title coming on at the bottom of the screen instantly.

GPS can't do that.

Also, the Navi will tell you what direction you are facing. A GPS can't do that. It only knows where you are. You have to move between two points for it to calculate your direction of travel.

Yeah, it's located right next to the control for the auto headlamps.

Doesn't work at night, period. (Unless you're in Alaska with its 22 hours of sunlight).

At night, open moonroof and check position of stars.

Try Gentex

Try the Gentex Corp. They manufacture rear view mirrors with
the compass feature

I don't know what you mean about Nissan mirrors having an annoying tint. I have cars with th Donnely mirror (TL and Pontiac) as well as Gentex (Pontiac and G35), they look to have the same color tinting.

The donnely mirror in my pontiac broke/leaked the same way the one in the TL did. That's why I replaced it with a Gentex one...

FWIW, Donnely also makes mirrors with compasses in them. You should order one of those, as the connector harness will be the same as stock. If not, you can buy the Gentex ones. I got mine from here . I got the homelink one. Installing it is very easy. The car I put it in had factory Donnely mirrors like the TL. I just cut the harness on the car, and wired the harness the mirror came with. Took about 10 minutes. For Acura, you'll need to order the mounting bracket though. You shouldn't have to do any rewiring, unless you get the homelink one, in which case, you'll need to run another power wire.

Their is a dealer installed auto dim/compass mirror available for the Accord. It may work in the TL.

Otherwise, the compass is located in the navi system or next to the control for the ventilated seats.
