Hello Kids.
I picked up a CPO 2008 TL about 2 weeks ago to replace my 2004 Infiniti I35. The I was a great car but it had 188K when I traded it in for the TL.

So far I am very happy. The gas mileage is great. With the amount I drive I will be saving about $150 - $180 a month in gas and oil. The Infiniti had a bit of a consumption issue.

s asking if they can fit 20's with a +15 offset and 255/30/20's on a CL. Thanks. Love the color. It really stands out.
Tint.....maybe. Whatever else.....unlikely.
Thanks

Good choice on the CPO. I'm surprised you say the NAV is a lot higher priced. It's only about $500-600 higher here in SoCal. I got one exactly like yours but with NAV. I, too, stated I will not mod my TL. Two months in: I got it tinted, LED for all interior lights, Type-s rear side markers, a-spec underbody kit ordered, custom tail lights, and a-spec wheels to come. The mod bug will nibble at you... Welcome to the family.

I got a nice deal on it. Very nice.
As for the mods. I went from a fairly heavily modded CLs to the Infiniti I35 without modding the Infiniti at all. That's a big chance. My priorities have changed from when I was 25. I just can't justify spending cash on a mod when I have bills at home.

Update....
So far I have added about 3000 miles to the car.
Only issue I am having is there is a bent wheel and so there is also a slight vibration and noise. It was bought that way so they missed it on the Certification. My service tech told me to try to get the dealership to cover it. I am working on that.
I also changed the plugs and filters this weekend. I always do when I buy a used car. Just habit. The rear plugs suck to change, but it was doable. Just for the hell of it....I also added a coat of wax.
Other than that....love the gas mileage I get with the car. 27-31 depending on type of driving.

If the dealer doesn't cover the wheel, it's time to step up to them big boy dubs.
Do you think you can fit 20's with a +15 offset and 255s?
I kid. Glad you're enjoying the new car. How's the turning circle? I heard the I35 had the turning circle of Texas, but the TL also has a pretty big turning circle.

The turning radius is one of the things I noticed early. It is a lot better. That said, I hardly ever had to do a full lock on the I35. I live in the sticks.
