TL as a loaner car.

Hello to all TL owners.

Today I took my TSX in for my 10K service and was given a TL as a loaner car. I had only been in a TL at the dealer and never spent much time in one overall. I was highly impressed when I was given one to drive until my car was completed. I have been driving it all day and put a few hundred miles on the car. (I got it with just under 1K).

Let me just say...YOU TL OWNERS HAVE IT NICE!!! Not that the TSX is bad AT ALL...but the TL was a very nice change and is, IMO, a great car overall.

Good car people!

Thanks for the kind words. Of course, most of us completely agree with you.

Then there are the usual few who are never happy with anything. Hope they stay out of this thread.

Well....I have to agree Jim (and Ron)....The TL is a nice car. I have had the pleasure of owning several cars in my time and the TL ranks as one if the most fun and balanced cars I have driven. I can deal with the minor issues, the fun more than makes up for that. My opinion on getting a loaner car....I was given a TSX as a loaner and being used to the TL I considered myself lucky to have the TL. Don't take me wrong the TSX is a nice car. Anyway you are correct..we are lucky and it is a good car.

You likely would have freaked out if they gave you a 6 speed manual trans car.
Talk about fast and fun!

My 10K service was going to take longer than usual for a few reasons...

1) I live over an hour from the dealer I bought my car from. The Acura dealer 5 minutes from my house sucks!! So travel time alone was going to be about 2 hours plus with no traffic.

2) They asked if I would mind being put on the back burner and having the service take a day or two. They were pretty booked, I said cool and they were great about it.

Well...those are about the only reasons but I did have them check a thing or two more.

Here is a copy of what I just wrote on my other TL thread from earlier.

I assume that I probably shouldn't copy and paste this twice...but IMO it is worth a 2 minute read. You guys have great cars in the TL!!!!

My other post follows.......

---------
Ok, I just got im from a night out and I have to say, the TL is a GREAT CAR. I am most proud of the Pontiac kill from earlier tonight and will be sad to see them take back the loaner car. However, seeing an ex-girlfriend tonight was pretty damn good in itself because I had just washed the TL before going out, (yes, I'm that anal), and she saw me getting out of the cleanest and newest car in the parking lot. Check and mate!

This is probably the coolest loaner car I have gotten!!!! Does anybody know a dealer that gives out NSX's as loaners!!?? Because this TL has spoiled me rotten!!!!!!!
