My wife works for Honda and they have an Acura dealership in the group. The price we were quoted was close to 33,000 because the car is in such high demand and they were unwilling to go much lower!!
While I would love to belive you Narnia, I would have to see that in writing as that price is 600 over invoice (a place most dealers are not likely to tread when they can sell the car for full sticker+).

I didn't know anyone there. The deal took about 45 minutes. I am picking it up in two weeks. It's supposed to arrive around the 24-26 of March. I received a quote of $32,820 w/o the Protection Package from another dealer. I called him and he quoted me $32,695 w/ the Protection Package and by the end he took off another $500! I got an auto w/ navi in Anthracite w/ Black interior.

I purchased my TL w/ Navi at Invoice because I work at an acura dealership but if your not an Acura employee its very hard to believe you can get a Navi TL at invoice...because they are at a premium...non-navi possibly. Even at Tissue the dealership still makes an extra 2K of holdback and floor plan...add in a percentage of financing interest rate and gross from accesories they still make a killing.

I purchased my 2004 TL on February 16th for $30,000, silver with black interior, vin 14XXX, along with the protection package (mud guards, wheel locks, trunk tray) at Open Road Acura in Wayne, NJ. So if you include the destination fee I actually got the car for $300 under invoice!

StuntingInDaTL that was for a non navi version. BIG difference as the dealers can't sell these fast enough. The Navi's are in demand and as such they will not deal on them, which is the point!!

I don't know but I'm assuming it was sitting there for a quite a while, as were a lot of the cars in stock there, I believe the dealership I went to is the 5th biggest in the country. I mean their online inventory lists over 125 TL's in stock and by the size of their lot in back of the dealership it's definitely true.

Oh yeah my car was built sometime in November (11/03)according to the label on the inside of the door. Is there anyway to find out what week in November that might have been? Hopefully not during Thanksgiving week that might explain the turkey-happy drunks that assembled my car, which now has two incredibly annoying rattles.

Yep you can get a 2004 TL for at least $1,000 under invoice no problem.
First step own a 2002 TL Type S and go through 3 transmissions
Second step give Acura you Attorneys number
Final step Acura offers to buy your defective 2002 TL from you and sell you a 2004 TL at dealer cost.
