Thumbs up TL forum compared to MB C Class forum

What a difference in posts!!
Being a former C owner, I am pleasantly surprised to see the difference between the topics posted on the C forums at mbworld.com and the TL forum here.
So many posts on the C forum were about the issues that members were having with their car. Though most were non critical, that is nobody's car stopped running, almost everyone had one or the other issue. Also many had the same issues over and over again, including me.
So far not as many people whining here. Hope it stays that way. Touch wood!

Welcome and thanks for that mention. We appreciate the positive input. We have our problem posts too (what car doesn't?), along with the critics, but hopefully you will continue to find benefits from all the contributors. We look forward to you sharing you TL experience and insights with us.

Now some say Acura is gussied up Honda (not that it is a bad thing!), but would you say MB is now a gussied up Chrysler?

Discuss.

I think one thing that helps with the initial impressions people get was adding a "Problem and Fix" sub-forum. I admit I was against it at first, but it has helped when you log in and your not overwhelmed with problems.

If you don't want to hear people whining about this and that, you might want to stay out of the Problems and Fixes subforum...but if you do have a problem, there is a good bit of useful info in there. Of course, there are a handful of folks who'll bring their abundance of negativity to any thread...you'll spot them quickly and learn to ignore them like the rest of us. Welcome to the forum and I hope you're enjoying your new Acura!!
