Is the TL Coupe a possibility???
I don't know if this was ever discussed, but since the Accord can now be purchased as a coupe, do you think that the TL will be soon to follow???

The accord has been a coupe since the 80s, its not recent.
The CL was kind of the TL coupe, but since its gone, who knows. I think they are bringing back the CL though, right?

the Accord was always able to be purchased as a coupe. the TL WAS a coupe ala the CL which has been discontinued. Look for an Acura coupe to make a return between 2006-2008.

Are you sure you're not confusing the CL with the EL? The CL was discontinued throughout the Acura line in both the USA and CA

Not a Blowhole
Coupe sales were poor, and honda styling of 2-door coupes leaves a lot to be desired, IMHO. I have never liked the Accord coupes, and did not like the CL. Neither, apparently, did Acura or the buying public for that matter.

The Slope on the early 2nd Gen CL and the rear of the Accord Coupe suck. I dont understand why Honda feels compelled to change the ass from a Coupe to a Sedan. They even do it in the Civic (However in the Cvic, the Coupe Rear end is usually better than the Sedan)
I think if they came out with a CL that was EXACTLY like the TL but with the A/B?? Pillar slid back and a Longer front door for the coupe design, they would sell pretty decent, and if they stopped futzing with the rear, they could re-use 90% of the parts from the TL on the CL. Even the damn A-spec kit would be interchangeable if they kept most of the car the same.

i always thought that the TSX was like the 2 door version of a TL, but kept it as a 4 door.
thats why i never thought a 2 door TL was comin out.
if anything, they might make a 2 door TSX instead, with more HP.
