TL changed to.......

just curious to see what model car previous 2004 TL owners swapped their car to due to various reasons.

I've had my car since May and am feeling kinda "bored" with it.

btw, its an A-Spec model.

1999 Saab 9-5 V6. Had it for 90,000+ miles. The only problem was a failed thermostat, but I got bored with it. Love my TL, but miss some of the Saabs features like gobs of low rpm torque, ventilated seats, fold-down rear backrest, huge trunk, double sun visors, and DRLs.

Traded 1998 Audi A6 Quattro... loved the car especially the appearance, AWD, horsepower, and many gadgets. Unfortunately, with over 90,000+ miles on it the warranty had long expired and the increased # of visits to the repair shop and repair bills were becoming a nuisance. It took me a long time to figure out what I was going to replace it with: another Audi, BMW, G35, etc.

I'm VERY happy with my 2005 TL! It's probably the best value on the market from many perspectives. Although I must admit... it would have been nice to have the AWD option.

1999 Saab 9-5, manual transmission. Saab has some very innovative features, but long term durability and reliability are not quite industry standard. Although the TL seats are great, the Saab seats and leather quality exceeded that of the TL.

2002 TLS, 2001 TL, 1994 Legend in that order. I've been happy with every Acura I've owned but the new TL is the best so far. Previous cars were 2 Audi's that were great but lived at the repair shop too often.

Ordered my ABP A-SPEC a few weeks back, hopefully should be arriving mid February. In the mean time I am still driving around my 2000 Jeep Cherokee I've had since college.

Ohh oops. I see what you are saying...

you want to know what happened to the people who used to own a 2004 tl but got tired of it for whatever reason - and then purchased a new car.

You want to know what the new car was.

Sorry

Shouldn't that be I-4? No such thing as a V-4 yet, although Volkswagen have talked about making one by using half of a W-8.

2002 Blue Audi A4 Quattro, love and miss that car so much. It was very fun, and the only reason why i traded it is because of the weak horsepower...

Now, I'm driving both TL and 350Z~ I love them~ Especially the TL.

(I feel like the power is almost same as the Z, but better interior, It also got one of the best GPS, useful, safer... blablabla...)

BTW: nissan dealer sux ~ the suckest I've ever seen...

If I had to stay in the same general price range, I would probably go for the Infinity G35x (tried one and liked it). If price was not a consideration, my first choice would be an Audi A6, then an Infinity M45, or a ...........? Dream on...............

Auto or 6 speed? If it's a 6 speed you shouldn't be bored with it.
