TL for accord

Whats everyones thoughts on the 03 accords? I have a 04 TL I'm looking to sell (auto, no nav) and have been offered an 03 accord (V6, 6 speed, non-nav) plus $4000 cash? Anyone with any experience with these accords? I'm going to take it for a drive tomorrow to make sure 3rd gear is ok but not sure what else to look for.
Thanks

Certainly dependent upon the condition and mileage of both cars. The '03 Accord only goes for around $9000 so if you add the $4 grand you're looking at $13K for the TL. 240 HP and a few lbs lighter than the TL so performance may be a wash, but naturally the TL is a more refined car, but your choice. Better check the clutch out closely as you don't want any suprises.

Coming from a 3G, the 6MT Accord is quite a bit faster than a Stock 5AT TL .. but like Turbonut said .. a lot less refined.

The Accords are pretty damn reliable ..

i assume the ex coupe (was that the only one with 6 speed manual?)? i have experience with an 04 sedan ex v6 non-nav. great car. currently has 90k miles since bought new and the FEW "problem" spots have been:

1. drivers heated seat, bottom cushion (the light went out, dealer fixed it (warranty), light went out again, then half the seat went out (no more warranty, not fixing it))

2. moonroof needed adjustment, dealer tried, then just replaced it (warranty)

3. front-right wheel bearing just replaced

never done any maintenance but oil/filters/brakes/tires/alignments, been rear ended twice with no damage but to the bumper cover, headlights are not the greatest i would swap them for something "brighter", much fewer rattles than my TL (but it's a slightly softer ride), similar sound minus the sub, feels faster cause the gas pedal is "lighter", engine sound is not quite as refined, leather is more plush and not perforated (less sporty looking, but it's more comfortable), interior accent lights are amber rather than blue (subtle, but makes a big difference in my mind), no handsfreelink/maintenance minder.

it's definitely a down-trade to a more "common" car, but if you need the cash, its still a great car with probably most of the same mechanical parts.

Nothing against Accords but why give up a TL for an Accord. I just came from an 06 Accord EX-L wonderful car but now I am driving an 06 TL and I love it!! I mean the TL is much more quieter ride compare to the Accord. There is more road noise in the Accord then the TL. I even had the top of the line Michelin Primacys MXV4's grand touring tires on the Accord

I own both the 2005 Accord auto ExV6 and 2005 TL 6-speed. I love the TL but the Accord is just as good as the TL without the goodies. I'll recommend the exchange + cash if you need the money. I can't think of anything wrong/bad with the Accord. Heck, I bought the TL over another Accord just for the HID.
After owning the Accord for 2 years and TL for 5 months, the TL is prone to crack dash (mine replace under good will), rattles, worn out seats and premium gas. I don't have any of those issue with the Accord.
