TL 2004...Type S conversion

Hey guys im new to the TL...i know most people are going to say i shouldve searched this but i am on my cell phone..but i was wondering if the front bumper from the 07 type s and rear tail lights and front head lights all fit on the 04 regular TL...i want to do some type of conversion...i know that the rear bumper i think dosent clear with the regulaur non-type s exhaust...i had a couple sport front wheel drive civics that i ran in nhra for sport compact..but i dont know ANYTHING about these TL'S!!...any info would be highly appreciated..

Everything can be done.

1. Headlights- can be swapped, but you need different turn signal bulbs due to size difference, and you need different ballasts, cause the type s ballast is smaller than 04-06 TLs ballasts

2. Front bumper is a straight up swap, and so is the rear bumper.
Only difference is you would need parts to go with it, like the lower mesh and the fog lights

3. Tail lights are a straight swap.

My car is a perfect example: 2005 with type s headlights, type s front bumper and lip, type s rear bumper with ATLP quad exhaust.

From this:

To this:

Notice the base bumper with lip is still on that last one...

Then the type s front bumper without fogs yet.....

Note you have to get the TL type s grill too

Finally with fogs

Then the HID kit for the lower fogs

Now for the rear:

To this:

Type s rear bumper with ATLP quad exhaust, final product, as my car is now

brian how did you change the side mark color from stock orange to white? Last time i heard, they were do+able but doesn't last long. How much were your rims? The aspec is only $500? Did they come painted?

I dremeled open the sidemarker at a certain spot and pulled the stock led out and mounted a strip on top. Closed it back up and siliconed it back together; seemed pretty stable as they have been running for at least 4 months.

I got the rims for a steal.. don't want to reveal price.

I got the aspec for 250 and 250; thewanderer has hookups for a cheaper price, PM him. They come painted.

Sorry for thread jack, but what about interior wise such as the tach/speedometer and what not. Direct swap?

I'm loving the red display....

Yep, angel eyes, halos, or CCFL's (cold cathode fluorescent lamp), all the same.

For all bumper parts, I recommend purchasing them at your Acura dealer closest to you since shipping rates have increased just as everything has in this damn economy. I got my front bumper from www.oemacuraparts.com as they have all discounted OEM parts but realized the shipping was insane, so you guys should just get them at your local dealer.

Headlights I got from www.oemacuraparts.com since shipping isnt that bad for headlights. I got one from there and the other one from ebay for $100 less.

Angel eyes were from ebay.

I basc use www.oemacuraparts.com, which is located in AZ
and www.acuraoemparts.com (delray acura), located in FL

Loving the changes! Except for the license plate. You should move it back to center.

Will the front and rear Type S lips fit the 04 base bumper?

dnoTel: I think those are RonJon wheels... just based on the advert at the top of the page.

For the front, no.
For the rear, people have cut out the exhaust cutouts to make a quad exhaust fit on their base bumper, then slapped a type s rear lip on top to cover the messy cuts.

HOWEVER, there are 2 members on this forum who have put a base 07-08 front lip on a type s front bumper. They managed to get it to fit.
