you could try get your posts up and see in the black market if they're selling the mounting brackets there

Buying without doing research , tisk tisk . You already have fog lights built into your headligts. Putting fog lights in bumper , will take some custom work or doing a bumper swap to the tl that came with fogs and using the OEM fogs

you don't need an xxx amount of posts to BUY in the Black Market- just to sell or trade.

OP- what fog lights did you buy?

OP is aware of the custom work but you are right. He should have done some research. OP all you can do (if its no the 03-05 sedan accord fogs) is get a custom bracket built, but tell us what type of fogs you got.

take it to another shop that has done custom work before .. there will not be a bracket for this unless you have one made.

there are diy on here and on youtube about installing accord fogs. and taking the bumper off is very easy.

IIRC you dont need a mounting bracket. Like project tl said there is a DIY guide (goolge installing accord fogs onto a TL) and you can use that as a guide. Um its counterintuitive that a "custom shop" cannot "custom make" a bracket or have someone tie to there business who can make one for them?

What's up with so many people disliking the stock fog light location? I personally love it. Reminds me of the old JDM Integra headlamps.

Surprised that the "custom" shop said you required brackets.
You do not need a mounting bracket.

How I mount the fogs is simple. There's a long screw that comes from the side of the bumper and straight into the fog housing that holds it.

Heck, I think I even remember someone using gorilla glue to hold them in place!

Fog lights built in the headlights isnt really fog lights to me and most members agree. The appeal of the fogs on the bottom makes the TL even more sexier.

^^ agreed ! Yea i dont really see how the ones in the headlights would be considered fogs , but adding them to the bumper seems like a more apropriate place for them to cut threw bad weather .

Plus like said above , looks better too

Not sure if this could count as a thread jack, sorry if it does, but maybe the OP might have this similar question once his fogs are actually installed.

For those running HIDs for fogs, did you use a relay/is it necessary?
