Tire Rack is screwing me what can I do?
I ordered 4 Replacement Brembo Rotors and hawk Pads less than a month ago. I did my break job and decided that the rear rotors and pads were still O.K. So I called back tire rack and asked how to return my rear rotors and pads. They weren't installed and in there original packaging. They gave me a return number and the address.
I sent the rotors and pads out in the same box the next day.
A week went by and i got an e-mail saying i was credited for the rotors......And not the REAR PADS. I called Trie rack and told them I had shipped all the items together and was told they would "check on it."
Then next day they called me back and told me they didn't have them. And told me I needed to file a lost package claim with USPS.!!!
WTF!!!! I sent them the three items in the same box and they tell me they only got two of them??
What can I do they just fked me???

I would try to go right on up the ladder at Tire Rack ask for a manager. Someone in their warehouse should own up to checking in the items. If you had a weight on the shipment try to use that to your advantage. Sometimes USPS will have a name for the person signing for returns too. Good luck! Best advice stay level headed haha.

If they were in the same box and the box was damaged and some contents lost there should be a notation on the way bill either by UPS that the carton was damaged in transit and repaired or by TR indicating the box wasn't in tact when received at TR.
If there is no notation then one would assume the pads were lost on site. Or checked into inventory. If checked into inventory then the electronic records would show it.
To be honest with you I don't think a reputable company like TR would intentionally F*K you over for such a small amount. They are a sponsor at a few forums on here and that reputation is at stake.
Try calling Rudy @ Tire Rack, here is the conract info.
I have spoken with him a few times.
If you are looking for an immediate response, please feel free to call me directly at our toll-free number (877-522-8473) X664 or email me directly at Rudy@tirerack.com .

Just my
Make sure that TR still has the packaging. If they don't have it for UPS to inspect, most likely UPS will deny the claim. I'm in the computer business and order a ton of stuff online. I sent some stuff back (INSURED by UPS and boxed and sent from a UPS authorized location) and UPS denied my claim when the other party stated that they didn't receive it. I went round and round with UPS for 6 months because purchasing their insurance should cover anything while it is in their hands. Bottom line is I was out $225.

when purchasing online... rule of thumb... always use a CC... then when returning items always have a tracking number... if TR plays you... your CC wont

Thanks to JessTZN here and Rudy over at TireRack, Emailed Rudy and within an hour I had a phone call with the confirmation that they would take care of the pads and credit me properly. Thanks for the input all, case closed.

I was just gonna say...give me a rip. I have some inside contacts at Tire Rack that I can get you in touch with. They do a lot of sponsorship for locals here in the Indy area as well as I have had them sponsor a local charity performance challenge event I once worked for....so I kinda know some people there that could fix that for you. They are located just north of where I am in South Bend Indiana.

Glad I was of help. TR sponsors a VW tire forum and when I went to Rudy about tires for my TL he recognized my screen name from over there .. did a great hands on job for me ..
