How can I fix it? its a really tiny ding that is rusted on the side of the car .. its like 1cm? is there a way i can fix it myself instead of expensive fix at a car shop??

 

I had something similar and didn't want the rust to spread. I used a fiberglass pen to clean out the rust in the pit of the paint. They on eBay and about $10. Then prime and paint.

The fiberglass pen works much better than sandpaper as you can use it more precisely.

 

ohh okay so i just needa use that pen to clear out the rust and then how does the prime and paint work?

 

As long as it's surface rust the pen idea will work. If the rust has eaten through the panel you will need to cut out the cancer and weld in some new metal.

 

sounds like the pen will work if its only 1cm ... gluck with it
