Tinting

Got my tinting done last week. Before I left there were quite a bit of bubbles in it, was told they would disappear. Most did. But week later after I wash the car I notice several bubbles (small) and dirt particles trapped. Is this acceptable? Should I even expect the tinting to be perfect?

Nothing but perfect is expected. If you pay someone to do something no matter what it is it should be done perfectly.

um

furthermore, the tint should be done 99.999% perfectly, if there are scratches, bubbles etc make them rip it off and re-tint it. Don't accept any BS that "it'll dissapear over time".

I've made my Acura dealer re tint my windows 3 times now in 1 year 4 months due to scratches from felt they installed, bubbles etc.

You paid for it, it should be damn near perfect and to your satisfaction....this is a no brainer?

Just got back, got the two windows retinted that had two pretty large bubbles (1/2 cm). They refused to do the others which had couple of dirt underneath. The guys said "it's a hand job you have to expect a couple of dust particles on each window. What else can I do, I think i'll just have to live with it. I'll post some pics soon but I think it will be hard to capture.

looks hot! but dude, if I was your neighbor, I'd run my finger on your car and write:

"WASH ME"

Exactly, mine looked that good when it was dirty too, lol. Wash that thing and let me know how the tint is.

You'll catch a lot of crap if you post pics of a dirty car. I've seen one or two guys practically get cruxified. LOL.

I actually agree with the tinter. It's very, very hard to eliminate ALL dust paricles. Rear window is worst. However, air and/or water bubbles shoudn't be there at all.

That said, I couldn't find a single blemish in mine.

LOL...i know..it'll be washed in a couple of days...

the tint guy cleaned the windows and lights with invisible glass and there is no dirt, just like a bubble or two which will settle down...other than that its nice...he tinted my top brakelight as well...
