A non-ammonia based window cleaner is recommended. Armor All makes a cleaner you should be able to pick up just about anywhere.

As far as insides? I have had 5% on my last 2 vehicles and go with nothing besides water. Ammonia will definitely peel tint right off. Armor All should be ok, just read carefully.

Windex makes ammonia free wipes in thin little resealable 10 or 25 packs. I keep them in the passenger door pocket. I use them on the navi screen and any windows. I have another pack that is full power for doing the windshield, good for dissolving bugs and filth. I've found them at Target, Wal-Mart, grocery stores, just about anywhere. Just look for the ones that say Ammonia free. Yellow package I believe.

That way there's no bottles or anything to spill in the car.

either water or alcohol based window cleaner is the best bet. I much prefer the latter as it does a better job than water alone (which can take some elbow grease to clean).

Last time I check the local discount auto parts place had some alcohol based cleaner (can't recall the name).

I use Eagle One window cleaner, it's safe to use on window tint.

A great window cleaner is white vinegar in distilled water, 1:10 ratio. It is also anti-bacterial, good for cleaning door handles, HVAC knobs, radio knobs, etc which build up a lot of bacteria, and some viruses - this is a common way people spread disease. Also good for cleaning your PC keyboard and mouse, whose bacteria levekls can be scary.

I also use Stoner's IG, but 3M makes a cleaner that is excellent, like all their products.
