Tint Shop in Atlanta, GA to Montgomery, AL area

Hello!

I am new to this forum, but let me tell you, you guys have really helped me out with my new car. I am having the dash problem that everyone talks about and it looks like my dealer is going to help me out some how but to prevent this from happening again, I would like to get my car tinted to reduce the heat and uv in the car. As any of you southerners know, a dark car can get pretty hot in the summer.

Can anyone recommend a tint shop in the Atlanta, GA area to Montgomery, AL area? I live in the great city of Auburn, AL (War Eagle !!! hope you all got a chance to see the incredible victory over that redneck school this weekend). Wish our team luck in the BCS race, we are terribly underrated.

I would like to put Formula One pinnacle tint probably 50% with uv protectant and mole skin protection on the felt wipers.

Thanks!

From the recommendations from some of the Atlanta posters here, I went with Solar Works Atlanta. They use Formula One films.

$345 for ceramic tint. Metallic is cheaper. Some people who have navi have gone with metallic and didn't encounter any problems.

Another vote for Solar Works Atlanta. No problems with their work - had it for 3 months now. Great work.

Thanks,

345 is a lot of tinting, does that cover everything? including the moleskin?

What do you think the cost for metalic would be?

Hey dan....k,

I really want to do it but this will void my warranty right?

I contacted the shop and they said they would be happy to do it for flat 500 fee.

Also, still trying to find the parts at a reasonable price

Thanks for your help

With the amount of tweaks the dealership has been doing with the car, i'm thinking holding onto the warranty will save me boat loads of money on repairs.

Your whole warranty will not be voided. I have had warranty work done since my swap.

Solarworks

They added the moleskin and they tint all the way to the edge (even in the rear quarter panels). If you choose somewhere else, make sure you ask about both.
