I am taking my TL in to get tinted next Friday and I am wondering do they just tint over the stickers (TLC, alarm, ULEV, etc.) on the inside of the glass? Has anybody removed those stickers? If so, did you just heat gun and razor blade them, or is there a better, safer way?

The TLC sticker just peels right off... doesn't look like it was meant to be permanent at all. Haven't touched the others.

 

They usually remove the stickers before the put the tint on.

 

I removed all of the stickers. First I used a razor blade and cleaned any residue off with "Goop Off".

 

Is the TLC a static sticker? I want to peel off all of them and move the TLC to the rear window where the ULEV sticker is.

I removed my TLc stickers with a "Widget" (razor blade). I want to get the Honda markings off as well, but can't find anything that won't harm the glass as well.

The dealer tint shop forgot to remove the stickers, it looked terrible, especially the silver ULEV sticker on the rear windows (silver on black tint sticks out like a sore thumb), make sure they remove them, I had them redue the tint!

 

Most definitely remove them!!!
