Timeing Belt Change 05 TL --> What Brand Should I Choose?!
Hey so i have a couple options here:
Good Year Gator Timing Belt Kit with water pump $521
OR
Good Year Gator Timing Belt Kit with no water pump $119.17 + ASC Water pump $100
OR
Gates Timing Belt Kit with water pump $382

Check out the AISIN kit, #THK002 available from rockauto.com The genuine OEM parts without the Honda name on them, $194.79. And you can get it for as low as $151.91 with free shipping on amazon.

You can get the Gates kit TCKWP329 with water pump for $133 on RockAuto.com (look for 5% off coupons on google). It too has all OEM parts except the water pump (same as Aisin). I've installed one of these on my wife's 04 Pilot. The kit is excellent.
BTW: Gates/Unitta makes the OEM Honda timing belts (Mitsuboshi does as well).
