Time To Tint The Tail Lights....

I believe people buy a DIY kit from RockBlocker who is also a sponsored vendor.
There seems to be a 20% off promotion currently going on. See this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/sponsored-sales-group-buys-10/20%25-off-sale-rockblocker-334326/

In the past I've used a spray on product called "Niteshades" which worked really well. Thing coats is the way to go as not only does it prevent running but it allows you to control how dark you want the tint. If you just leave it without clearing it you get a satin type finish. On my project car it lasted 3+ years in Canadian winters no problem. If you want a shinny finish all you have to do is hit the tinted lights with 1500 or higher water sand paper just to smooth things out a little and hit it with a coat of spray verithane by the same company that makes "Niteshades". For my life I can't remember that company name though . If you're interested let me know and I can next time I'm at my project shop I can check for ya. Best of luck with darkenin' those tails - gonna look goooood .

Mine were done with NightShades .. Made by VHT . I removed the lense then wiped them down with Isopropal Alcohol the 99% stuff and applied 2 light layers about 20 min apart then the next day I applied a layer of clear coat made buy Plasti-Kote ( Spray automotive touch up ) then the next day I wetsanded with 2000 and Buffed them out with my Porter Cable R/A and a polish ..
