service b
Just got my cars comp telling me of a service B - 16000 odd kilometers. They need the car for half a day they say and will give me a loaner. What do they do on this service that apparantly costs me nothing? Anyone know?

You can easily do this yourself...
Change the oil and while you are under there, 'inspect' all the items they list and save yourself the hastle of taking it to the dealer and paying them an arm and a leg to do it.
There is no reason valves should need adjustment until at least 60k unless you beat it...

Are you sure it's free. You should make sure of this before leaving the car, because some dealers are charging over $100 for this service, which is nothing more than an oil change/tire rotation and visually checking things that should be checked during any routine oil change.

Well the B service was done and it cost me zilch. They gonna get me on the next one I bet. In any case they treated me well for a two hour service. They had a loaner car ready for me when I arrived and thats surprising for a 2 hour service. It was an EL. Man, I can never go back to a small car after driving that sewing machine. Although it is a nice car, it just isn't a TL. A typical 4 banger I suppose with the typical seats that don't go back far enough and no get up and go. But hey it was free and I really appreciated it.
