Tilting mirrors

Do the mirrors only tilt downward in reverse on the Automatics? Or do the manuals have the same feature.

No reason the manuals could not have it, it would just be tied to the reverse light switch!

one thing to note...only one mirroR goes down..not two...depending on where you put the switch for the mirror adjustment...if you put it on the left and leave it there, then the left mirror goes down...i find it better to keep it on the right...just my opinion...

Can anyone explain to me why only 1 mirror tilts down at a time instead of both of them? Besides the fact that the TL was designed that way.
