Thoughts on Price

Here is what I am being offered:
2006 Auto with Navi
Trunk Liner
All Season Mats
Including Destination

Total Price = $33,700

Thoughts on the price? Good - Bad?

Can I do better? Where in the NY/NJ Area?

Thanks in advance...

I live in just over the river in Bethlehem, PA.

A few dealers where quoting me the invoice on new 2005's - $32,700 for TL AT/MT NAVI. Piazza Acura in Reading was one of those dealers.

Not sure the TPMS is worth an extra $1k. Go with a 2005 model and save some $.

It was an 05 we got in july, but I know someone here recently got the same on there 06.

Actually its funny, I told my dad to go 32,800(as advised by some), so they guy goes, is there anything I can offer to get you to buy it tonight, of course my father says no, hes not gonna let them win. THe guy keeps saying, "are you sure?" My dad says yes. So the guy goes what is your best offer, my dad makes a stupid face and goes 32,500 with navi, the guy goes, let me check with my manager, comes back a minute later(I wonder if there really was a manager) and says sure. So my dad says thank you and that my mother will be in the next day to finalize it. I was of course, elated, to say the least.

I did email about 5 local dealers with requests to quotes and what I was willing to pay. A few said they thought they could meet 32,800 without even meeting me. We ended up going to our local dealer(2 miles away) we didnt even need to bring the response emails.

dealer invoice after dest is 32819.... does your price include dest or not? thats a silly deal. i sell them and i wouldn't do that price. be careful they aren't playing a game. sometimes people over shop and there are dealers who will tell you what ever you want to hear then change it on you. are you financing with ahfc? their rate is 5.69% for 12-66 mnths..... maybe he's packing money in the payment. i would be at 33925 on the car, but we also give free oil changes to our customers. check the amount financed to make sure no hidden money.

Keep location in mind, it changes depending on where you're at and the demand for them.

I paid 33XXX before taxes. (Before Aspecing it)

Very true. I paid 35k for my 05 with Navi and the mats, tray, wheel locks. Dealers around a military base hardly budge because someone else will pay it.

I realize others had better deals than mine but in the end I am happy with my car. I added the A-Spec spoiler kit, extended warrenty (8/120k), and 5 year free dent repair afterwards and only financed 20k so I am satisfied.
